Week-end Hunting.

This week-end we had the opportunity to take my nephew Nathan to my husbands cousins ranch for a Saturday hunt.
He was beyond excited!
He took his bb gun and practiced target shooting.
I think he loved the ranch life..
Norma my husband's cousin and Nathan at the blind
I think my husband's hooked..
Yes, I know he is..
We'll be back!

  5. Hi there, My two grandsons are going to be taking "hunter safety lessons" because they really want to go hunting. You will be able to fill your freezer with that deer. Have a great afternoon.

  7. He looks like he's having a ball!

Am hoping to finish up your runner tomorrow (Tuesday) and get it and your ladle in the mail on Wednesday. Had to spend the day with my sick husband in the ER. But thank goodness, it wasn't the flu - just bad cold. So, my today was not very productive.

  9. Glad that they had a good time on the ranch. My sons would probably enjoy that too. My oldest son is outside in the backyard, right now as I type this, shooting his pellet gun!

  12. What an awesome thing to do. Kids these days lose track of the real world without electronics. For sure, this memorable event has been imprinted in his life. You and Romeo are a true blessing. He is "Very" lucky to have such great family wanting to take him out to enjoy the outdoors.
God Bless and may you continue to impact others. Love, Brin

  13. The Man is an Avid Hunter too and I'm really digging Taxidermy for Styling so I'm Hoping we can get my Brother-In-Law, the Taxidermist, to hook me up with some dead heads to Gypsify... you know, Tiaras, Bling, Ornate Gesso Frames... like they're having a Party! *Winks* Thanks for stopping by and leaving such sweet words about enjoying my Blog.

  14. Hi Marissa, I tried replying to your comment left on my blog today but several comments were not sent to my gmail for some reason. So, I am coming back here and hoping that you'll see this and know that I appreciate, as always, your sweet comment!

  15. I bet the boys had a blast! My daddy used to be an avid hunter but has had to quit the older he's gotten. He's just not able anymore. It's definitely an addicting sport though, well for men anyway. I'm not sure I'd enjoying killing things!

  16. I think he's hooked, too, both of them. Not too sure about that snake skin...I am so afraid of them, its not funny.
The ranch looks like a fun place to go.
