Awaiting Cold Front.

As I sit here and write this post from my bedroom, I have my both windows open fresh air is blowing in, it is in the low 80's here in South Texas! We are anxiously waiting on a "Cold front" that will bring temperatures way down to the 60s. Our air-conditioner broke over the week-end and we are relieved that it happened in December and not in August..
As I look out, I see the sun shinning.
The butterflies playing..
Plants putting on a show for all to see.
Sometimes thinking spring is here.
My perky lobelia plant loves to steal the spotlight.
While my porterweed bloom patiently waits for another hummingbird.

  2. Your cold fronts are a bit different than ours in Ohio, hah. I would love 60's all around the year.

  3. Hi Marissa, You say 60 is cool-humm, here in Colorado during the winter that is a warm day. We are in the 40's and expecting lots of snow tonight. Love your plants and flowers; the butterfly is lovely.
    Hugs, Noreen

  4. I remember Christmas Days the 3 years we lived in Orlando when the AC ran all day. And how we yearned for days cool enough to wear a sweater. I'm hoping for a tender Tennessee Christmas this year, but just one big snowfall would be nice.

Maybe you can wear sweaters there for a little while! Love seeing your unusual flowers, Marissa!
