Christmas around my house.

I am keeping it simple and not over-doing it.

After all, I am running oh, on about 3 hours of sleep.

Recognize this?
It went from fall table into a
Christmas one in 15 min.

I had bought a set of new ornaments a while back (like 5 yrs ago) and
was excited to put them up this year.

I think they are so cute and so much fun for
Tealyns  first Christmas

I love them so much, I may use them again for next year too.

couldn't forget the birdie.

My advent wreath sits on our kitchen table.

Davy Crack it is waiting to crack a nut or two.

Our nativity
a beautiful reminder.

From our home to yours!!

  2. I don't blame you - running on a few hours of sleep, but you still did a great job in decorating.

Many blessings to you and your beautiful family and a wonderful New Year!

  3. Your home looks wonderful, Marissa. The nativity scene is beautiful. Hang in there, they eventually do sleep through the night. Remember if you can, sleep when she sleeps. I know you're laughing now!

  4. Hi Marissa,

Your home is aglow with bright lights, festive and fun vignettes, (love your first photo of that greenery and red!), and I'm sure something baking away in your oven! BUT, mostly, your home this Christmas has been blessed with your beautiful baby girl, her sweet presence in your lives, I'm sure has been the most cherished gift you have ever received!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  10. Your Christmas decor looks beautiful and I love the ornaments on the tree. Tealyn will too, each year! Next year my Christmas is going to be simple. And I might even have menus planned and food cooked, unlike what is happening here right now. I must make out a list soon. Merry Christmas to you and your precious little family, Marissa!

  13. Simple is always best. Heck, I went even more simple than you did! But then again, our children are grown, so we don't decorate for the holidays much anymore. We keep the spirit, but save ourselves a lot of work by not putting up much in the way of decoration.
