Feels like Spring in January

I know, Its only January, but around here its feeling like Spring! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE springtime because it is symbolic of new beginnings~ the smell of fresh cut grass, flowers blooming, birds singing, and lots of rainy days!! My sweet alyssum flowers are putting on a show for my neighbors.. These daisies are in full bloom and aren't camera shy.. I think the warm weather is tricking these perky plants into thinking spring is here. hopefully it already is...

Burning the tree

This is Romeo's favorite part of ending the holiday season. Never mind~ that there is a burn ban effect in our area. Never mind ~ that the neighbor keeps looking out to see if he might have to call the fire department. Never mind ~ that all week has been VERY WINDY... (except today thank goodness) Thank goodness it only lasted about 20 seconds! There was no time for roasting marshmallows :(

Peaceful day's of January..

Love the peaceful day's of January don't you? Romeo got me a new camera for Christmas and I have been playing with it.. although, I must say... holding my hand steady and learning all the different types of settings is truly a challenge..
