Every time I'm shopping at Lowe's, Home Depot, or a nursery those little bitty sized pots they come in, sitting next to the cash register practically yell at me " Hey you look at me take me home with you"...
I just can't resist their beauty!! I love the rosette ones. Don't you?
I love this....and simple to do.. I used the dish that comes with the pot, drilled some holes and listo...ready for planting! Easy, breezy beautiful...(From a Cover-girl commercial, I think)
My mom loved chickens and hens. She also had them. They multiply so easy and she was always giving them to her friends or anyone that would stop by.
ReplyDeleteNeed to get me some...
DeleteHi Marissa,
ReplyDeleteYour succulents are certainly super heat resistant and quite pretty! Most of us are used to the more common spring and summer flowers like roses, peonies, lilacs, etc., but it's interesting to try new things! I LOVE that rosette!
Poppy
Thanks Poppy for popping in :) I love the rosette too.. so pretty..
DeleteI love succulents, but usually kill them. Maybe it's our colder climate or maybe I overwater them. I have one now that seems to be doing fairly well, so I hope I have luck with it.
ReplyDeleteYour succulents are so beautiful! I think they are absolutely wonderful.
Kathy, Yes they are so beautiful!! They are best in hot humid weather like down here...
DeleteYes succulents are great, I have a few in my garden, so easy to care for.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a little rain soon. We have had floods followed by snow throughout the country but nothing too bad where I live - only very cold and wet and just a little snow.
Diana

DeleteI have been thinking about getting some succulents lately too. I love how low maintenance they are. I've noticed that they even sell fake ones at Hobby Lobby! Yours look beautiful all planted in that low saucer you used. I may just have to give that a try. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly...
Deletethank you. i really need to do this. not much can flourish in this dreadful summer climate!
