This little water fall went without being connected for about half a year.
NO JOKE
I went and bought it at the end of last summer, and we just never connected it.
Before we knew Fall was here then baby, and well I wasn't
going to start outdoor projects with a new-born baby and no sleep.
So, when my husband asked me what I wanted for Mothers day
I knew exactly.
We hired Andy. He works with Mid Valley Ponds & Landscaping.
I just love it.
finally the plants are starting to grow back
There is nothing like the sound of trickling water
as you walk your guests to their car after a nice visit.
it is BEAUTIFUL! well worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteLove this feature so much! I was just telling my husband that I would love to add one near our patio. Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteThank you and It is so nice to hear from you Melinda.
DeleteBeautiful! Your right about the sound, my neighbor has one near our fence line and when I go our in the morning, I hear the running water.
ReplyDeleteThank you . I can never get tired of hearing the water run...
DeleteIt looks pretty and the sound of water is soothing...plus those plants are loving it. Congrats on the rain!
ReplyDeleteThank you Vee.
ReplyDeleteI am here looking out the window and enjoy our rain.
its such a blessing.
OOps * enjoying.
DeleteThat is so pretty and I love the purple plants with the bright green contrast of the moss. Awesome job! The sound or running water makes me pee, and pee, and pee! LOL
ReplyDeleteI would love to have one here, but tried a small one on the deck years ago. When the motor went out, I used the bucket for a planter! No more running inside for me!
Did you know that when I run water for dishes, that I have to run and pee before I can finish them? Always been that way...can't blame the kids.
Hope you are having a great day there. We are so cool here for July and loving it!
Hilarious:)
DeleteHi Marissa! I just got caught up with your blog and I love your waterfall and of course your darling little girls! What a precious angel! I look forward to watching her grow. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Marissa so true nothing like the sound of trickling water i have asked for one for years...i got zip; on Tues hubby went to Walgreen and found a very small zen like water fountain for 6 bucks; on sale LOL its something and now it sits on the bar piece under the gazebo - at least I have all the elements under the gazebo ...please enjoy that waterfall for me too! :)
ReplyDeleteWow. I need to go try Walgreen fountain for my kitchen sound neat.
DeleteIt's gorgeous, Marissa! How pretty the greenery and the flowers are that surround it, and they must get plenty of hydration and mists from the water when it is breezy outside. So lovely; enjoy, my friend!!

Thank you Poppy.
DeleteSuch a beautiful fountain! I am so jealous of you. I have always wanted one, but there is no where to put it in my yard. I know you will have many happy hours listening to it.
ReplyDeleteKathy, you can purchase one at Walgreens for your kitchen.
DeleteHi Marissa, I totally agree with you! At our old house, hubby was supposed to build me one but never did. I'm thankful that there was one here because I love the sound. So glad you got yours too.
