Love to me is more than butterflies in
your stomach
and pretty boxed chocolates
on
Valentines day
Love is patient and kind!
Love is
Trusting
that person unconditionally
with all your heart and soul..
Love is accepting those little
Flaws
our partners have...
Its laughing and sometimes crying together through the good times and the bad.... It means compromising and understanding each others needs...
even when you don't want to...
Love is truly a gift from God, and I couldn't
feel more
blessed
to really know its meaning...
How true and beautiful your words are, Marissa. I have been sharing these words and feelings with my hubby for 42 years and I am truly blessed~~~

42 years is an amazing blessing!!
DeleteYours is the second post today that I have read on this topic. It is so true. If you really love someone, you want their best first before yours. Love truly is a gift from God. Thank you for this beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely!!! their happiness is first..
DeleteThat is such a sweet post and a wonderfully cute banner. You know, some people just don't get it- what love is all about. Accepting your love for who they are and not who you want them to be. Being happy in each moment you are given, because one day, one will go on and the other will have to wait.
ReplyDeleteI love your attitude, lady. You are priceless.
Oh Thank you Tete! That is kind of you!
DeleteBeautiful post and I love your banner. To answer your question from my blog - my sister is Anna Lopez married to Raul. They have three daughters which two were just married last year. Hubby and I will be traveling down to McAllen this weekend to meet for the first time my brand new great niece. Excited to be going - I love visiting the valley!

DeleteHi Marissa, I love your banner but more importantly the message behind it-unconditional love; though as weak humans we must first seek His love poured out on us and showered upon those we love.
ReplyDeleteYou are so very creative and I know your family is blessed by you.
Hugs, Noreen

I hope you make these. You are right, endless possibilities. Happy
Valentina's.
I really loved it Linda..
DeleteIt seems to me as if the men who "get it" with the flowers and chocolates and a Valentine are the ones most likely to "get" the really important things like communication, trust, overlooking another's faults, etc. LOVEly post!
